Influence of Different Wax Hardening Agents on Surface Roughness of Refractory Cast Investment Materials

Background: Phosphate-bonded investments produce a refractory cast model with rough surface and undesirable properties. Dental Surface hardening agents are then applied to investment materials enhance its properties.
 Purpose: compare evaluate the effects of different dental (Bees wax, Carnauba Ceresin wax) on roughness material. 
 Approach: 30 specimens were constructed from commercially available phosphate bonded Specimens subjected test before dipping in handing agents, divided into three groups according type wax which they dipped. (10 for each type). was done by profilometer where readings taken all specimens' surfaces randomly. The mean extracted values after waxes. Results: standard deviation tabulated statistically analyzed using students T- test. decreased dipped waxes (P value < 0.001 HS highly significant).
 Conclusion: process has significantly improved materials.
